Default plug wire routing

I have a 283 small block with rams horn exhaust manifold on my '60.
I want to change out the plug wires but can't seem to find what I need to get plug wires 1 & 3 on the drivers side and 2 & 4 on the passenger side around the exhaust manifold up to the distributor.
All the vendors sell heat shields but I don't see how they would help. Anyone have pictures how they routed the plug wires?
Thanks,
Captain Bud

There is a diagram for spark plug wiring and shields in the AIM in Section 6 - Sheet 12.

If you don't have an AIM (get one soon!), here is a similar diagram:

http://www.zip-corvette.com/catalog/...lug-wire-clip/

Just click on the link above and then click on the diagram on the lower left. Compliments of ZIP Corvette.

Either of those should get the job done for you.
