i agree - 64s are fantastic.
i've never had an issue with the drum brakes (especially power drum)
and i prefer the gauges over 63, and 65-7 and 64 has my favorite seat pattern. The bonus when buying is that they are the most undervalued.

Safety Car
AARON, This was my most fun Corvette. 1964 fuel injection convertible. It was stolen when new and recovered by PAUL BAITY, who took it racing in SCCA Cal Club West Coast events in late 1964 and into 1965. I found it in 1985 in Arizona and restored it for vintage racing. This photo is coming down the ''corkscrew'' at LAGUNA SECA in 1990, and later in 1991 at SEARS POINT. Author TOM COTTER in North Carolina owns it today and has raced it all over east coast tracks like LIMEROCK, and VIR. Paul's race number 33 is on the car today
64'S are great Corvettes.

gonna start doing some clean up and maintenance to this car -
i discovered that it has the incorrect 097 Cam in it. Which normally I wouldn't worry much about - but i just love that old 30-30 in a 327.
This car is a factory 4.56 car too -
More pix of the Z!
This car has been everything from original 302 mill , to a crossram motor, and now its a 421 sbc dressed up to look like a stock DZ302

here's the 421 with CNCed Dart Sportsmans to look like 186 casting factory heads

Oh
hell yes!
Very nice!
All I would change is unbend the alternator upper bracket and attach behind the boss rather than in front of it.
Just about perfect!
oh, and change your avatar to AaronL84

Those photos were from the day I got it.
It still needs the shifter, clock, and AM-FM radio, rebuilt which I'll do next week, and later this summer, the 097 cam is coming out and the 30-30 is going back in. At some point, those wheels/tires/hubcaps will come off and get bagged in the garage - and a set of KO, and kelsey Goodyears will go on..
Cheers
