Very pleased, about 99% of on coming Corvette guys now wave. Even new ones. My question, many HDavidson guys wave too. I wave back. Question, you Davidson guys, is the connection still "All American Steel" we have in common. This was explained to me about 15 years ago by an Indian rider. Still true?

I don't know about Harley's, but when I was on a motorcycle I have the wave to all other motorcyclists, and I was on a crotch rocket Yamaha or a Triumph Bonneville. I almost always got waves back.

That's always been my understanding. The best (now only) bike built in America and the best (and only) sports car built in America

I think they just think it's a cool car. I get waves and thumbs up from quite a few bikers. I usually get waves from almost any classic car, and I always wave back.
I also ride, and sometimes I wave to bikers out of habit when I'm in the Corvette.
When I am out with the '57 or '61 I get waves not only from bikers but also from big rig truck drivers. I live in logging country up here in northern Minnesota.
There are way too many corvettes now to wave at them all. Just like Harleys. My word youd be waving every 5 minutes. Corvettes used to be a special order vehicle. Harleys were certainly NOT being used by yuppies to turn into weekend biker wanna be's back when that wave thing was happening with them. Overexposure on both accounts now. I dont mind waving back in the corvette or the bike. I just dont initiate it anymore.
I got on the local main highway here in NW Florida (Hwy98 known for its bad wrecks cuz of idiot texters and such), and was cruising to Pensacola last year (about 30 minute drive at 55mph). Next thing I know a group of Harley dudes (some rugged, some polished) were all around me front side and back (about 15 of them), and boxed me in for the next 25 miles until their turn north on I-110 in Pensacola. Last guy in the group to pass me as they turned north looked at me and said "You're welcome. Didn't want anyone scratching that sweet ride of yours." I was humbled. I always wave to the bikers, it's the American way.
I get a LOT of waves in the '66 and I always try to wave back...and wave to other Corvette drivers of any year. I have a Harley too, and still wave to other riders, even if they're on a scooter! I have a Ford Raptor too, and we even wave to each other since there aren't a lot out there!
I grew up in farming country in Kentucky, and it's always fun to go back home and drive the backroads, where everyone still waves at each other!!
I always wavy at passing Corvettes, might get about 75% return. Also all cars older than 40 years an even higher percentage.
When I went through a Wrangler phase in the 90s, I got near 100% waves.
