’62 Copper C1 Is One Amazing Piece of Highly Functional Art
Believe it or not, this gorgeous C1 Corvette started as a pile of parts that most would have just written off at the onset.

C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified 2020
I respect and appreciate the talent that went into this transformation, but there is nothing of the end result that I like. Dennis

Hard work, time and money yes. Art is in the eye of the beholder. I'm not that guy.

As they say, don't confuse activity with accomplishment. I'm sure it's a great car to drive but it's aesthetically challenged IMO

Studio prop for the making of "Corvette Summer II"? Looks like a relative of the original:

Have to agree with all of you guys. Nice work, but not my style at all. As for the C3, didn't care for that monstrosity in '77, and it looks even worse now. All it needs are curb feelers and a TV antenna.

l love some of the restomods I've seen, but I have to agree with everyone on this one. Lots of time, money and great work obviously went into this one, but the end result does nothing for me. The hood scoop is so out of proportion with the rest of the car, it is detracts instead of complements the overall car. The interior is more suited to a truck with those square seats. Nothing seems to flow together on this car and everything (exterior, interior, engine, etc) appears to have been designed separately without a thought for each being part of the same car.

I could do without the stinger style paint job on the hood scoop (too gaudy, IMO), and the "Copper Topless" stuff inside, but other than that, I like it.
I still wouldn't buy it though, or have my car done like that.
The workmanship looks excellent ++. And he started with a crap car, not an original motor, no hit car, so that alone makes it more than OK in my book..

The person that designed the car is very creative.
But when I ask my wife what see thought. She said it was "Gaudy"
Change the color and kill the graphics. Make it black, dark blue or dark gray.

Totally love it! Must have taken tremendous time and effort. My only change would be to push the wheels out a bit more. They look a little undersized that far under the quarter panels.

Honesty is still the best policy be-it good or bad, but just be nice when saying it.

I think most responses have acknowledged the high level of work and craftsmanship of the car. It's the styling and design that most don't care for. That being said, all it will take for the builder to sell it and make money is 1 person who loves and wants it.
