I don't know if anyone produces a console. We made this ourselves so it would fit properly. I suspect that it has to be done that way because each car is a little different

I actually have a set of 15" wheels and reproduction wheel covers for the car. I used Goodrich Silvertown wide white wall radials. I don't have a picture of the car with these, but below is the design drawing. It looks dead stock when we have them on. I also included a picture of the car being built with these wheels on it.

Excellent car!
Nice mods but not over the top like some.
Actually I like the picture with the wide whites and rally wheels on the car...

I did find two photos that were fun. We put the Billet Specialties wheels on one side of the car and the originals on the other. This was before we finished the interior. I like both.

Just to encourage people who are starting a restoration, here is a photo of the car when we started.

While I really like the current wheels on the car, I lean towards the whitewalls and reproduction covers because it is more stock looking.

The car is gorgeous! Enjoy!

Darn...I "just now" caught the significance of the information on the glove compartment clearance.

Your arm rest compartment pivots "FORWARD"...which eliminates clearance problems when it tilts backward. Great..!!

Thanks...Stan

Didn't think so but, thought I ask. I know there was a vendor a few years back offering one. I'm going to install a center console on my 62 build. Guess I will end up building it as well. love the way the front section is tilt

Default WOW... love the radio speaker too.

I may re-do my console and dash... I have a C5 Shifter, but have installed an automatic shifter that looks like the stock one. I also have been trying to figure out cup holders - this is the best looking setup I've seen.

I've got C5 brakes on my 61 with C4 front & rear suspension - I run 17" American Maverick wheels to clear the brakes. I told my Wife they don't make large white walls for 17" wheels.... she quickly found a set at Cokers...
on the internet. We are still pending on them....

I have all C4 components on the Newman chassis: brakes, steering and suspension. The billet specialty wheels are 18" but the reproduction wheels with covers are 15" like the originals. The 15" wheels clear the brakes but you have to place the balancing weights carefully to avoid interference. Interestingly, the circumference of the 18" tires that I use and the 15" old style wide white walls is about 0.1". No need to recalibrate the speedometer when I change wheels!

I am attaching some pictures of the console that I hope will help you. The cup holders were a standard order item (2 3/4" stainless) but the console was designed by Eric Brockmeyer and Jerry Noone after I described what I was looking for.
