Default Barn-Find C2 Corvette Needs a Full Restoration

This C2 Corvette is definitely a restoration project. But she comes complete with every single part from the original car still there.

How do you store a car for 30+ years with the top down? Dopes.

I would offer that it seems nuts to me to let a mid-year sit unused for 35 years.

At least it was stored out of the elements, unlike some sad barn finds that are left to ruin, including those left out of doors.

If it was parked when running I'd say it could be a couple hundred bucks from moving under its own power- at least for a moment. That would be a big plus. It's always fun to see one dusty (in an archaeological way) but I wonder what it looks like in a good setting, cleaned and idling. Would sure help justify the price. Cool car.

Not sure what difference having the top up would have made since it was stored indoors. Maybe a little less dust/dirt inside, but I think the car would be in the same condition it is in today.

Default Clean it fix it drive it

this car is great as it is. just clean it up and freshen up the drive train and chassis. looks pretty good outside of being dirty. no need for restoration. you'd waste your money.

To prevent the air inside the cockpit from going stale. It's also easier to see the mice, cats, chipmunks, birds and squirrels
