Ok, Holidays are over, it's time to get back on this project. I thought I'd clean it up somewhat. I'm only doing a frame/drivetrain resto at this time. The body, chrome and interior are presentable so I put some elbow grease to it. The old girl still has some shine to her. I'm happy....
I havent been at it for while but had some time today. I fixed the "bad" rebuilt/restored carbs. Since I'm using a newer fuel pump I had to bend my own fuel lines. It's the little stuff that takes time...
It took two of us to get the accelerator linkage set up and working properly. Got er done with one or two modifications. We used a 58-61 linkage assembly with a 56-57 petal and a couple minor mods at the firewall. It looks good and works good....
Fantastic work and beautiful car. Are you missing a grommet in the accelerator linkage?

Use Eagle One Never Dull to polish your Chrome. It has NO grit in it and will not scratch the finish like some other polishes will. I use it on all my Chrome and on my Motorama Car as well. Try it you will love it. Your 54 looks great. Kind of wish I had my first 54 Vette back. But you can not keep them all.

Body and interior are driver quality. Gauges rebuilt but not restored.
Frame and drivetrain is all new or rebuilt. A neat little 4 spd shifter. It's just a 60's HOT ROD....
