Default Assembly Manual vs. Assembly Manual Supplement

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the supplement and the full Assembly Mnaual? What is in the supplement that isn't in the AM?
Is it worthwhile buying the supplement?

I think supplements are 'corrections' to the AIM for your year...

The "supplement" may be referring to the shop manual. I have a '64 and I have a '63 shop manual and a '64 supplement to cover the changes between the two years.

... and for the '65 model year, they printed the '65 Corvette Shop Manual (Supplement ST-60) "to cover changes not covered in the 1963 shop manual. Also, in early calendar 1965, they issued an Interim shop manual, ST-71, upon the introduction mid-model '65 year of the 396, the full syncro manual 3-sp trans, and the automatic 3-speed Turbo Hydra-matic trans, available as optional equipment on the Chevrolet 15000 and 16000 series and the Corvette 19400 series vehicles".

I think that was the end of the supplements and interim manuals, as Corvette was incorporated into the regular Chevrolet passenger service and overhaul manuals for '66 and '67.

I have all three as well, found them on the bay.
The interim manual is the hardest one to find. Not necessary unless you have the mentioned options.
