Default Old Goodyear Tire Info

Trying to do a little research on ORIGINAL Goodyear tires only. What I would require is anyone with non DOT tires to provide me with the type of tire [eg Goodyear Super Cushion] tire size,black/white wall, 7 digit date code and if the tire was in the spare carrier.. what year of vehicle. C1/C2 info or any other vehicle pre '67

Thanks RIC

That info will take forever and a day (if ever) to gather and organize; it's already been done, by John Kelsey of Kelsey Tire, the only Goodyear-licensed manufacturer of classic Goodyear reproduction tires.

Hi John.....Do you know if John Kelsey has the manufacture codes for the older Goodyear tires pre 1966. I have seen the "TUFSYNPACKER" codes published which start at 1966 and later but prior to this code there were other codes for Goodyear tires.
Thanks RIC

I should have indicated on my last post that I have never seen the manufacture codes for the older Goodyear tires prior to the "TUFSYNPACKER" posted anywhere. These codes for tires manufactured from late 1955 to 1965 are 7digits also but do not fit the 1966 and later codes. If you have a tire such as this {Goodyear only} and have been unable to have the code deciphered I have the Goodyear documents to tell the month and year of said tires. I realize this pertains to very few people but if you are trying to determine if the spare from many years ago was the original I might be able to help.
Thanks RIC

2015 C1 of Year

For years I argued black walls could come on 55 Corvettes and steel wheels were welded for tubeless tires . Now after years they do recognize it! Here is my spare tire original still having the **** on the tire ,never used.

Wish I could help you with this Goodrich but I only have the codes for early Goodyear. Maybe someone with an original Goodyear blackwall in a 1955 carrier will chime in.
