Here is mine. Production # 393. We bought this car as an unassembled basket case almost 31 years ago. I painted it 20 years ago next week (Veteran's day 1996). We are in the process of restomodding this car with a LS engine/4l60/Corvette Correction frame. Plan to repaint - but would like to reassemble and drive first.

My current toy
Solid driver, NOM motor (327), have what is believed to be the original block and heads. Hardtop and soft-top, was from Pennsylvania, now here in Western Australia.
I think it was originally white with red interior, looks to have been painted about 20yrs ago. Will find out next year when the body-off resto begins.
Apologies for the image quality, getting some better pictures is on my "to do" list but having too much fun driving it

I believe this car was a racer at one time.
Today it is yellow, white coves and rag top, white hard top, 4 speed with 3.55's, 283 twin 4bl. 245hp.
Who knows what "Bubba" has done prior to me owning the car.
It is a "10 ft." Nice driver.

Mine is back now. I finally gave in and installed a DeWitt's radiator. I had a few other things taken care of at the same time. I even have lights that work now.

Here's mine, it's a twin turbo LS1 with 6 speed, it was an old drag car back in the 70-80's it was pretty much a shell when I got the car.
Tons of custom touches to the car, but committed to the original design, one of the most unique, is that the floor pans have been lowered 6" and footwell pushed forward about 3". Tons of room in this car, with integrated shoulder harness seatbelt built into the seat.

I'm starting to like the painted steel wheels. It's an interesting look. Sort of an early '60's look.

Sold my C7 and hoping to purchase this '58 from a friend of mine. It's a 250 hp 4 speed with both tops. We thought it was an original red car but when replacing a piece of cove trim discovered black with silver cove underneath.

My barn find 2 years ago. Guy started working on it in 1971 after buying it from the original owner in 1964. He sanded the paint, did some engine work, started the car and the engine made a "funny noise." He got upset, covered it up, and 44 years later I bought it:
Got it home and was ready to work on it the very first week, but someone found out about it and wanted it in the worst way. He kept upping his offer, and it went to a new home. I wish I would have kept it.

C2 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
garage find
About five years ago a friend told me of a 57 he knew of that an old guy had out in the middle of nowhere and he was thinking about buying it but he wouldn't tell me exactly where it was. Well he never pulled the trigger and about two months ago I got him drunk enough for him to spill the beans. The next day with money in hand I drive about two hours from my house deep into the northern cali woods and there she was. But not a 57, a 58. The old guy tells me he bought the car in 72 had a bb Chevy in it fender well headers and some kind of bars or something pushing the front-end up so it looked like a gasser and yes it was a drag car. He did a home resto on it in the 70s parked in 90, now its mine
and let the fun begin

Nice find but I don't think that car is a '58.
