Used my Ferguson cockpit cover for the first time today. For those researching cockpit covers don't waste your time. You want this. For under $180 can't imagine why all vert owners wouldn't keep one in the car for UV and dust protection when parked for a few hours. Thanks for the great advice. Kudos Ed, refreshing when something exceeds your expectations.

I see folks talking about $350 car covers for garaged classics when this piece gives you more 'mobile' protection from rain and sun than anything else I can think of...for cars that are actually driven!

Ed Augustine's contact info is available via the many sources cited in the links above; read them. Can't post it here directly via forum rules...

The coupe version of this product (also available from Eckler's) is a life-saver during Florida monsoons and will fold up to fit invisibly in the jack stowage area on a C2..

Things I knew I needed but wasn't sure....I am now...glad this thread popped up....neither of my classics even attempt to keep the water out in the rain. I need this for my 60. I haven't driven either car in almost 3 weeks with our non stop rain or threat of rain still in the evening.

I got Frankies original stayfast cover, same material as my top, use it as an everyday cover and to keep the pollen off. I drive my car about every day and will go months without putting the top up. Washes great and is easy to use and store

Bill.

Hi all. Sorry to resurrect this. I'm in the UK and, assuming the US borders re-open soon, hoping to travel to Florida early in November. I'd really like one of these covers to take back home for my 1959 with L&R mirrors. I am finding it VERY tricky to get contact details for Ed. Can anyone help? @Frankie the Fink?
