Default antenna wire replacement

Does anyone have experience with replacing the radio antenna wire on a 65? I could use some tips/pictures.

This is one of the few times having side exhaust is a plus. If you have under car exhaust you will have to remove the exhaust on the drivers side. Unless you got real long skinny arms. Your also have to peal back the carpet on the wheel hump on the back remove the trim part behind seat, door sill and kick panel Then it's a matter of snaking it around the dash and into the radio.

To add to Nowhere Man's post, if you have a coupe, you'll also need to remove the rear blower assembly. I have lots of pics. of my 65 while doing a body-off restoration. Let me know what you need.

As Nowhere man and 1Snake have pointed out, you have to deal with the rear quarter panel behind the driver seat and perhaps the rear blower assembly.

The attached PDF has some photos taken when we recarpeted our '65 and replaced all the wiring.

Hope this helps!
