1953 E53F001184 headed for new home
I have had a number of inquiries about this car, so I though I would just post a quick update.
E53F001184 will soon be headed for a new home. She has rested quietly in her current location since the 1970s.
I hope to gather up the rest of the parts for this car tomorrow, and put them all in one central location.
After that, the new owner will come a retrieve her, and so shall begin her trip back to being road worthy.
As you might expect, the details of the sale, and the names of seller and buyer are confidential. I will leave it to them to discuss as they see fit.
After the 53 is headed to her new home, I believe the owner wants me to do the same for the 63 convertible mentioned in another post.
Yes, there is a slight price difference between the two cars.

Ed, thanks for everything. The old car is resting nicely in the shop, awaiting a new life. Honored to have it in the shop. It's in good company with three other 53's.

Pretty sure that when Brett gets to this one it will be about # 18 of the 1953 Corvettes that he has restored. That is not counting building the 54 Motorama Car re-creation and a couple 1974 Corvettes and a few others he has done that were not 1953's. He keeps busy. But when you are the best you stay busy.

Brett's reputation is a BIG reason the car ended up where it did.
This was an emotional issue for the seller; and she was convinced the car was going into good hands after talking to Brett and the new owner.
