Anyone out there have any pics of an original fuel door that was more on the whiter side vs. the silver gray color.
Also does anyone have any knowledge of what time frame the 2 or even 3 different roller door variations were used. Thanks

There is a lot of misinformation out there about '63 gas doors.
Here is a photo of my Unmolested, Original.........February build.
Please note, the background color is completely different from the white in the flag.

Thanks Rich, I am not sure about what type of mis info u mean , but I have a few of these and some appear to be a white backround and some appear to be the silver/gray color similar to the repop as far as the grayish looking ones go.
Do u think there were different vendors making the inserts, or was there a rev change made, or did the sun do funny things to them.
Whats your take on these.
