58 - Silver wheel color question
I know the silver used on the cove of a 58 is called Inca silver...were the wheels also painted this same color? And if so, was Inca silver used on wheels on other years or was it some other silver?

No the wheels were painted Argent silver and only used in 58 if I remember correctly.

Thank!!
I didn't think it was Inca Silver. The silver on the wheels looks lighter...but the color of silver is so deceiving depending on the light/shade.

I don't recall what the "name" of that silver was back in the day, although it later became several different hues of Argent Silver. The published styling Color & Trim combination charts from '57 just call it "silver".

Thanks guys...I just want to be sure, cause I ordered a sample swatch of the Argent Silver from Columbia coatings (powder coat).
