Can anybody recommend an insurance company that would cover casual driving, say 100 miles a month (no road rally's or cross country stuff) and winter storage for 6 months? Just took out of 8 year storage and went through the mechanicals. Present company won't insure unless I add liability to all my collector cars. Any thoughts? Thanks, Skip

Contact Adam Boca at the National Corvette Museum....
Most companies now include some pleasure driving and I don't think 1,200 miles a year would be a problem but do your homework...

Most insurers make a distinction between running local errands and pleasure driving in nearly every case.
As stated above, do your homework.

I have a '59 Vette and a '32 Ford insured with them and my rate is approx. $240 less than a well known company.
I just had a claim on the '32 for over $25,000 [vandels] and they paid up. A little longer than I'd like [37 days]. There was a short time period where I could get into the interior guy. But you can drive to Wally World, Target, or even get an ice cream.
Any questions pm me.

Keep in mind. It ain't the upfront cost of the insurance, it's the backend, how much of a deductible, who does the work, and how eager they are to make payment. People spend way too much time nit-picking on the upfront cost of the insrance

But, from what I've researched, all the companies have similar restrictions.
As far as Walmart, I don't like driving any car there. It's like an amusement park bumper car ride.

There is a reason all classic car insurers I've dealt with insist that you have a daily driver vehicle registered in your name in addition to owning a classic car. The reason you get the great premium rates on antique cars, and benefits like "agreed upon" value, is because they don't have the same risk exposure as commuter/daily driver vehicles.
