Easy walking distance. Not more than 1/4 mile for downtown, less for places like the Grand Sierra, Peppermill, and Atlantis. If you want to go downtown, there is a parking garage one block east of Virginia across the street from the Reno Events Center(not the Livestock Event Center). There is also a big parking lot just behind Circus Circus on the west side of Virginia.

It's also cooled off a bit. Lows 90's beats the 105 we had last week!

Cool photos, thanks for sharing.

We went out there a couple years ago to see this event; it was very cool.

Will be up there tomorrow, but leaving the Vette at home as we are not registered there.

And I definitely don't want to leave it parked a few blocks away!

For downtown, if you're willing to park on the street, get there early like 8:45 - 9:00 and you can usually find a space that's less than 2 blocks to the main street (S.Virginia).

But Gawd, Summit Racing, doors opened early on Thursday, I got there at 8:55 and there was 20 ahead of me in the cashier's line.

Like Clay said, the Grand Sierra's not bad, I always can find a parking space there and the walk over to the next lot where the cars are isn't very long.
