Default Wax Recommendations Please, read parameters for goal.

I've done a ton of reading, tried a lot of products as well.
I have different parameters for my 64 & 68 vs my 02, 14 vettes & 12 camaro.
Different Colors work react different to different products...

Tried / Current Arsenal
Zaino - great rejection of dirt & bugs BTW.
Meguiars NXT 2.0
Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba Paste
Adam's Buttery, H2O Guard & Gloss, Detail Spray, Brilliant Glaze
Pinnacle XMT Carnauba Glaze (Autogeek Free Sample) Amazing on the Black 64
I have a Rupes LHR 12E Duetto, but also enjoy hand waxing.

Incoming Purchases I will be trying
Pinnacle Souveran Paste Carnauba
P21S Concourse Paste Carnauba

Parameters
So my 64 is Black & the 68 is International Blue.
1) Their is very low chance either will ever see rain.
2) I like Waxing often, so durability is not what I want.
3) Depth & Shine are Top Desired Results
4) Multi Step methods welcome

Extra Credit
Anyone want to toss in recommendations for the others they are
(These see rain, etc. The Camaro sees Snow as well)
02 Torch Red Corvette
14 Velocity Yellow Corvette
12 White w/Inferno Orange Camaro 2SS

I found out its what you do before you apply the wax that yelds better results. I just used a clay bar system before I wax my cars and it made a huge diffreance. I only use Meguiars products and my car is a two stage paint That all makes a diffreance

I do clay bar & polish or correct if necessary with my rupes.

Mostly looking for new ideas.
On the 64 I used Pinnacle XMT Glaze 1st with a white rupes foam pad & my light swirls were gone. Then I did Adam's Buttery on top of that, then Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba Paste which has Polymers in it as well. I Detail Sprayed with Meguiars Gold Class Quick Detailer. Then I used some of my Sample of Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax. Really started to reflect well. Looking to see if I can improve upon it.

Pictures don't show how well it's coming out already.

I use Zaino Clear Sealant followed by Z8 Grand Finale on all my cars, both old and new, light and dark colors. It makes them look wet. Once the surface is properly prepped this stuff really shines. It looks better than the Zaino Z2, Z6 or All In One.

My Zaino regimen was Z5 and or Z2 with Z6 and/or Z8.
Your cars look great. I'll have to try some of the Zaino Clear Sealant in the future.

Griot's has a good product and I recently got some Chadwick's but haven't had a chance to put it to the test yet.

Chemical Guys Jet Seal followed by Butter Wax....perfect combo for silver cars (all my cars are silver)...havent seen its equal...

Their polishes are ok, but i prefer 3m finesse it. CG waxes are top notch.

This matches my 20+ year experience as well. It's all in the prep (clay, compounding, polish, etc.)

If the car is prepped very well, it doesn't much matter which wax/polish you use.. especially on a garage queen.
I used an IR temp gun to measure a black car (my daughter's Jetta) on a 100 degree day in direct sunlight.. it was 169 degrees!

Keep in mind carnuba max becomes liquid at 180 degrees.
On daily drivers I have found Zaino lasts very well and holds up to extreme sun and heat. It does not contain wax.

Yep. Polishing is what gets the shine. Wax is mostly for protection, even though it may add some shine after polishing. As was mentioned before, a good clay barring (if needed) followed by a good polishing with a DA polisher will get great results. Especially on a darker color.
The other week I finally got my cousin to do his BLACK 08 GMC Z71 after he got a polisher for Christmas. He was thrilled with the results. Especially since he had never been able to get the water spots, etc. off.

Griot may still sell their Euro super hose nozzle for eighty or ninety bucks. I passed on the romance copy on their site and found an imported Sears Craftsman copy six months later, $20! They work very well and have the no-questions free exchange at any Sears store.

As for paint dress-up and protection, my favorite is Liquid Glass. It does penetrate and slightly darken the paint, so that may be a factor with some colors.

I've been using Wolfgang products since I wet sanded my car after painting. Wet sanded then used the Wolfgang products and it produced a very deep smooth no swirl system, now I just wipe down with Mequires detailer the past 2 years. Will probably buff again with the Uber then the glaze and sealant this winter. Expensive but a little goes a long way, the results are very good and it stays nice a long time. Used a high quality orbital polisher with various foam pads.

You're on the right track with the pinnacle wax. I like the liquid sauvern for ease of use and terrific results!

Zaino is the best I have ever seen. You must follow their instructions (wash with Dawn dishwashing liquid, then clay bar, then apply their two (or three) step process. Go to their web site to see more info.

Yes. The original brewery in Narragansett no longer exists and the company has changed hands over the years. I believe the brewery is in Providence, RI now. They were long time sponsors of the Red Sox. Their slogan: "Howdy neighbor. Have a Gansett".

Nothing has touched my cars since 1997 except Zaino. It has been a terrific product that is easy to put on and take off. The shine is incredible.
