What Was the First Corvette Advertisement You Remember?
This early Corvette advertisement came out in 1955, a critical time for Chevrolet.

I don't have the best memory of things. I'd imagine the first Corvette commercial I ever saw was with a C3 in it. But the first Corvette to really get me excited was a C6 when they first came out. Never thought I'd own one though. Now I'm glad I do. It's a blast to drive, especially at an autocross. The thing can be beastly until you learn how to drive it right. I'm getting there.

Wasn't really an add but the movies....
'Corvette Summer'...
And 'King of the Mountain'...

1969 Camaro and Corvette add that said "We'll take on any other two cars in the magazine."

Chevrolet ad stating "Do we have Corvette- You Bet" of circa late 1950's or very early 1960's.

Melting Slicks
The first Corvette that I ever seen was prominently on display on the grass in front of a dealership in 56.
It seemed to have a slight ripple in the left front fender. Being a car guy, I ran my hand under the fender and it came out with a handful of sticky undercoating.
Now why do you think they put that there?

Don't remember the first, but the one that always stuck with me was....
"They don't write songs about Volvos.'

8th grade: Motor Trend had the 1978 Indy Pace Car Corvette on the cover, an article inside, and ads for the 1978 Corvette. All in one magazine!
I think that somehow, the pages "fell" out of the magazine from my school library and I "found" them in my backpack? Of course, they were quickly given to my Dad in an attempt to get him to buy one.

I would not say mine was an advertisement, but the Beach Boy song! As we were in ours, us kids would be singing the song!

It wasn't an ad I remember so much as an article in Car and Driver.

I don't know how many times I read it, but it was the reason I ordered my 1967 in the fall of 1966.
