Yep. Maybe I'm biased because I own one. In fact, I've owned 3 of the 29 that were made.
Oh ye of little faith.........................Option Z-06 WAS INDEED on the dealer order form in in September 1963. Yes, option Z-06 was removed as that specific option in late Sept or early Oct 1963, but Z-06 WAS on the order form. The components of the Z-06 package (Fuel injection, HD metallic brakes with finned drums and vented backing plates, F-40 HD suspension, 4 speed transmission) were "unbundled" and the J-56 brakes (Z-06 brakes) were offered to the public after January 1964. So all 29 J-56 (Z-06) cars were built after January 1964.
