What was the first and lat years
What was the first year that GM did or started the Motoramas and what was the last year they had a Motorama. I know they still have the World of Wheels and the Auto Shows but I mean the true Motoramas. Ones that had cars like this. How many of the original or re-creations are out there with us car guys and car gals. I wonder

If you Google “GM Motorama” you’ll find a lot of links to the history of GM Motoramas, with interesting pictures and stories.
The GM Motorama's were a pretty spectacular presentation of car displays and exhibits for the 1950's. I remember my parents taking me to the 1956 Motorama in San Francisco when I was 11 years old. I was very impressed but then at 11 that probably didn’t take much. I’m sure it contributed to developing my obsession with cars.
