What!!??
Yes, at last report he is very much with us.

Give me a break. I can't believe they are publishing incorrect information like that. Talk about fake news!

Keep hanging in there John. We're all pulling and praying for you to be back on the forum with us.

He's still with us, and I for one am hoping for a miracle. This is why you can't believe anything you read these days ... this is not the first time someone has published John being gone. People hear someone is sick, assume the worst and spew their BS crap all over the place and the next thing you know its viral. Its pretty easy to fact-check things these days, but some people are just plain lazy and not really interested in what's true.

The main thing is that he is still with us. Keep up the prayers and well-wishes.

And not just because he is the Corvette guru (which he is), but because he so often shows us what living right is like, through his example.

Go John!

Fake news I guess. John is apparently a tough hombre. It will be great if he can come back from this. Get well John.

John is a major part of this and other forums. His mind must be a true steel trap to hold all the valuable information he shared so many times.
You and your family are all in our thoughts and prayers John. Still looking forward to your next post!

Default John my thoughts are with you

John was a ray of wisdom when it came to questions as to how things were actually done during assembly. He was the only resource I ever truly trusted to give me the real answer on any questions. He was instrumental in restoring my 68 big block Camaro and I still think the car is in part a tribute to John Z.

Thank you John and God Bless You.

I note that the CRG also is aware of John's situation and sends regards. He was a moving force in the CRG website, he is so well regarded.

Apparently his Z28 has been sold and returned to the Canada where it was originally delivered.

Ditto! John is too big of a Human being to slip away with any life left in him.
I imagine him in his Vietnam flight days.

What a great life he has lived. I hope his waning days are comfortable, and I hope he regains enough health to enjoy another couple of years on this earth.

Someone tell him Trump is now president (if that detail is missing from his routine).

Hey all.

I signed up for John's caring bridge website and this is what was posted...Fantastic news!

"Here are John's own words - I'm happy to be able to provide this update - as a result of unknown medical issues and all of your thoughts and prayers, my health has improved dramatically since entering hospice care in December, and I will return home in February.

While inexplicable in medical terms, John's strength is gradually returning and he is now able to walk with the assistance of a walker. He has been cleared to return to his home for further recuperation. While he remains under Hospice care, our reasons for optimism continue to grow. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers."

So, all of us out there, please keep John in your thoughts and prayers.
