I was hoping John had posted something over here by now, but he is probably overwhelmed just trying to read all of this from everyone.

I haven't been on these boards much this winter, but as the weather warms up I've been reading up in anticipation of finally putting some work into my '66's original suspension. Naturally John's posts were scattered throughout the search results, and as usual when he recommended a place to send parts (trailing arms, in this case) for rebuild, that settled the issue for me. His carb service recommendation was spot on and solved problems that three other places in five years COULDN'T. I've learned more from John on these boards, mostly through searches but also when he's answered my posts directly, than I ever could've from books or all the sources I scraped together as a childhood Corvette fanatic. To call him a wealth of information is an understatement, and his enthusiasm, courtesy, and approachability match perfectly.

I stumbled on this thread, realizing that it was several months old, and read the updates dreading the next one but hoping for a turn. The December-January pages were awful. I found myself hoping that I wasn't too late to contribute to whatever memorial event might take place in a few pages. Then came word that miracles do happen, and John's back home and if he's posting, he's probably back to helping people. Unbelievable!

Welcome home, John, even though I'm a month behind.

Glad to hear John is able to play a little again. Welcome Back John.

What is the VH site? Not familiar with that one.
