OT- my '64's new '69 companion!
Well, men, I now have two Corvettes!
As my linked thread states, I bought a '69 coupe today through an attorney contact who was settling an estate. Although a white automatic wasn't my first choice, this one is going to be hard to let go of. It's got a stunning frame and birdcage, everything works, and it's very nicely optioned for an excellent price that was NOT to be missed.
I've been quietly shopping for six or eight months, having saved considerably by building the '64 after the accident.
I don't have to say again, to the regulars, that 68-72 cars are my next favorite Corvettes.
I also don't have to say my pinnacle is- and will always be- the c2, but I'm pretty stoked to have TWO to choose from. Just...amazing.
As my buddy Boatguy with his red '71 says...now we can have a red white and blue photo!

I checked the link, and have to say that looks to be a perfectly honorable corvette that you can enjoy immensely. The color combo is coveted by many and the options make it a keeper, unmolested as it appears and with minty frame. I am not a shark fan, but can appreciate a nice early example as this one appears to be. I would have bought it too.
good job Benton.

Not going to worry about it now, just need to pick up in the AM and get the tune up done! Drive, enjoy, repeat.

Congrats! Vettes gotta have company in the garage, especially during winter. Who knows what they talk about when the humans go to sleep.
(It's a bit strange we both have Daytona Blue '64's, and I'm hoping to get a '69 coupe, not a convertible, one day)

Congrats on the 69. Looks like a great driver with all of the options. I have a silver 68 coupe and enjoy driving it as well as my 66. Good luck on the new addition. Jerry

Nice and clean and unmolested.......just the way I like 'em. Great score! (I vote to leave the colors as-is!)

I just don't understand people who insist on owning both a mid year and a '69...

Good looking, very clean car. I would leave it as it and enjoy driving it. The C3 chrome bumper cars seem to be almost as rarely seen as C1 and C2 cars anymore. It should get a lot of waves and thumbs up.

thanks dan! I do think I'll tune it and do a little interior freshening and call it good. I think it's going to make a nice traveling car! It's also true that the chrome bumper c2's are scarce on the roads around here.
