It does look nose up!! (ready to launch) All three pics are iPhones within a couple of minutes of each other. Car actually does sit pretty level.

Really? No foul language, no personal insults but you feel my comments comparing a tire to out of date clothing are SO offensive that they require intervention from moderators?

Gotta love folks that are all about fashion over style. No worries though. Some marketer will decide that white letter tires are in again, and the fashion guys will be the first ones at the tire store, credit card in hand, to get a set.

I cant say I'm crazy about the white letters in my car. But I think that's just how Firestone did them. Not sure. I'm tempted to turn them around until I get setof BFG TA's.

My apologies. Something strange with the way that I can view your posts. Thought you were a social media bot.

Obsolete? Huh, really?

Well, Tadge Juechter, the chief engineer for Corveete, recently declared that with the introduction of the C7 the C6 model is now "obsolete".

So - all of our C2s are certainly obsolete as well!

I see nothing wrong in pairing obsolete tires with obsolete cars.

The only thing truly obsolete around here is the kind of thinking that lets someone presume to be the guru of what is or is not fashionable.

And no, I don't have RWLs on my C2.

BD104x's lack of life experience makes his posts pretty light weight, IMO. No reason to get offended...he's working with what he's got and it's working for him. The rest of us will do what works for us, based on our own, longer, life experience.

Personally I could care less what he thinks, but others I care about do mind. As a Forum we have lost FAR TOO MANY GOOD EXPERIENCED PEOPLE because they are turned off by these type of replies when trying to help. For them it is easier to stop trying to help than to argue with a few jerks, and unfortunately we all loose out when that happens. It always seems to be people that bring very little or nothing that stand back and throw stones at those that took the time to reply. All of you who have been around here for a long while can surely name at least several people we really miss now that won't be back. All you have to do is look up a topic and read the archives for the really good replies to know who I am talking about. If you have an opinion that is fine, but remember it is YOUR OWN and be respectful of others. I'm done..........too nice a day, going to take my leisure suit tires for a drive now.

goodyear N50-15 bias ply. Hardest slipperiest tire I've ever had. Took too long to wear out.

Everything in that photo except the black car & the trash can looks straight out of the 70's.
