The correct procedure on how to replace the stainless top back seat trim.
What is the correct way to pull off the seat back top trim (stainless) on a 1965 Corvette with out damaging. Then I want to replace trim on another seat back.
Input would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks, Nelson

Just pull it off. Firmly but gently enough so as not to bend it to ****.
If you are replacing a trim piece, I would strongly suggest you not use a reproduction piece.
Spend the extra money and go for a rechrome.

The ends of those chrome strips sit under the "hockey sticks" on the sides of the seats. I've found it much easier to re-install (without any drama) if you remove the four screws attaching the "hockey sticks" and then simply slide off the old and slide on the new. Of course, I spend the extra five minutes and remove the seats from the car first...easy peasy.
