Default 1963 Corvette Help

Can someone tell me exactly where to stencil the frame numbers and dates on my frame? I also need to know what decals and placement belongs on my radiator & expansion tank? Lastly help in installing accelerator ground strap. Pictures if possible. Thanks

There are several good C-2 restoration book available along with the Assembly Instruction Manual that show the location of many items. There is no decal on the expansion tank. Dennis

A good start is the NCRS judging Manual. I know there are some errors but it's a start. The other is the M.F. Dobbins fact book

Here's a pic of my frame stencil. I measured the old one and it's in the exact spot.

Actually, the expansion tank had a paper coolant warning sticker. It also had a small clear sticker with a number.

Yes, the expansion tank has a small sticker, often with the digit "8" on it affixed to the inboard vertical face under the cap...repro stickers are available. Sorry, no pic...

The very early cars had a metal plate on the radiator instead of the sticker. I dont know when they changed that

The caution label on the coolant supply tank is shown in the 63 assembly manual.

Also another coolant caution label on the left side of the radiator.

Pic's below from a February 1963 issue of Motor Trend magazine is of a new 63 FI coupe.

First pic is a scan from the Motor Trend magazine.

Second and third pic's are close up scans from the actual original 8X10 pic that I have from Motor Trend magzine.

Here's the radiator sticker. My caution and green number decals are still sitting on my workbench.

And yes my car should have painted valve covers. I like these better. (And the original owner put them on first.)
