IMO the C2 design was "perfection" back in the days when tires and wheels were narrower. But nowadays even family sedans run with wider tires. So I'd keep the lines of the C2 body, and then widen the fenders carefully so that wider tires/wheels can be put on.

This is definitely (or defiantly) over the top.

While these abominations might seem like sacrilege today, these customizations probably kept many wrecked, stripped or worn out cars out of the junk yard...

Yes, it is my opinion. But I will give yours a pass, at least you left the body lines original. Stripes, wheels and tires, 67 hood and the side cove mods aren't bad at all. I can take yours. I'm talking about the hacked bodys.

I thought that was the term for the P cars with the big rear spoiler. For shame, calling a Corvette by the same term as a porch.....

I'd guess based on 'Body Modification", I'd qualify as the person that 'Hacks" a C2 Body. Some of the "Hacks" being willingness to integrate styling from other Generations of Corvettes on to a C2's classic body design.

The "Hacks" for me are "Art", while some agree, I'm sure there are others that look at what I do as "Abominations/Frankenstein" creations.

This is the Beefcake Male Body Flared version of a C2.

This is the Trans-gendered Female Body Flared version of a C2.

If I could sell LED tail lights to use in all of the cars pictured I probably could retire...

I think we are a bit intolerant of past decades - a lot of those cars were 'hot stuff' back in the day...

Not even sure if that was a coupe or convertible. Do you have any details on that, or just something off the internet?

I agree. It's a convertible and was a Corvette.

Think that's why they were called that.
