Default The Ruin's of Midyear C2 63-67.

Unrecognizable.............. Being a teen in the 70's, I saw this all first hand. Lately allot of these modified C2's are coming out of the wood work. So lets see how extreme one's effort will go to change a C2's looks. Now we are looking for Extremism's here !

Before the archaeologist dig up these cars and ask "what were they thinking".

This one has been floating around for year's ,in the same condition. on Flea Bay

I have never, ever seen a modified Mid-year that looked better than any original. And I am old enough to remember these cars when they were brand new.

Every time I see a "customized" Corvette I am convinced that not everyone should be allowed to buy tools (or vote)

Next thing you know, we'll see one made into a woody. I agree with J. Moore 100%. No way to improve perfection.

I disagree. While the C2 is beautiful and such a departure from anything else on the road (still); with the right mild flares and 6 taillights they look even better. Unlike the over the top examples here.

This was late '70's. It was a 327/340 with 283/270 carbs/intake. He wanted $1500 for it. I wanted to give $1200 and he wouldn't take it so I took the car back to him.

Just think what the carbs.intake alone is worth today?

In all my years here, Pauly's has always been my favorite......probably a 435 car now.......one of his cars was wrecked as soon as he sold it, was this it?

I think that was the '67 split window coupe that he had pieced together............. It was a beautiful car!
