I guess you all don't like this one either. I think it is a great car.

Lighten up guys, they are just cars, and if individual owners want to do 'whatever' to build their idea of a dream car:- why do do many if you get so indignant??
Sure, I'm not thrilled with many of them either, but it's their car, and their journey:- to each, his own.
There was once a time when you Americans were at the forefront of vehicle innovation, customization, and design.
It appears now, particularly with the Corvette, anything that involves body mods or straying from the 'norm' is frowned upon.
I'm tired also of many on here that claim the C2 was 'perfect', and can't be improved upon:- really???? Classic:- most certainly. Ground breaking design of the time:- no arguments, but perfect by today's standards???, give me a break.
IMHO, too skinny, too tall, and they drive like old trucks.
I fully appreciate and respect others that have different views, but I choose a different path with my Corvette passion, hence my car Prodigy which I finished in 2012. It's a highly modified C2 body on top of a C5 Z06 platform. It has won many awards down here in Australia. It is different, drives like a new car, and has been well received whenever it has been shown.

Actually my good friend did a 57 Chevy and shipped it to Australia last year.

I'm glad you sold your '63. I had a moment of madness thinking I'd like to buy your '63, given it is silver/red trim. Be an ideal display partner with Prodigy.
Good luck with your travelling:- hope you do better than I did. I Imported a glendale 5th wheeler and Dieslel Silverado a few years ago. Did a fair bit of travelling around our fabulous country, and it was OK, but couldn't wait to get home and get back into my shed. Guess we are all different.

I think that you can build and have any Midyear Corvette any way that you like it, you can alter the side louvers, add a third taillight or a chin spoiler, Lamborghini doors, an 80psi oil gauge, a periscope, C5 seats, a snowplow, it's all good. Just be sure to keep your eye on the temperature gauge. And the altimeter.

I remember when Prodigy came along. Is it the 8500 hour build? I’m glad Ross is happy with it...but it has been a benchmark of monstrously hard-to-behold customs in my mind.
I wouldn’t mention it except except for the dig at how sad American car culture has evidently become...

2023 C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified
I actually bought this car, or what was left of it, several years ago. Sad story, a guy had 6 uninsured finished Corvettes in his shop/garage that burned down. He figured if he wasn't driving them his house insurance would cover them...WRONG!!! Anyway it still had a clean title and some good usable parts. I pulled what I needed and sold it for 1K more than I paid. The birdcage was really still very nice believe it or not.

Someones Old Race Coupe, with grafted straight axle front end. 65-66 by the looks of the master cylinder.
Perhaps it's a restomod candidate with that LS motor between the rails?
