Pictures Of 327 Hoses Please
I am doing some work on my 66 327/300 HP car. I am replacing all of the hoses (radiator/heater/expansion tank) with "correct" style hoses. I also bought a master kit with all the proper clamps. Could you please post some pictures of "correct" engine compartments with proper hose clamps and heater hose routing? Thank you.

Here's a few of mine. Unfortunately it's an L79 but, the expansion tank hookup should be the same. Hope they help a little.

The pictures of the heater hose routing in 66Jack's post are pretty close.
By the way, it's not absolutely necessary to buy heater hose wit the GM logo screened on. There were several suppliers of hose to GM and one used the GM logo while others did not.
Personal opinion... the hoses with the (way too bold/bright) GM logo look silly.

Although it doesn’t matter functionally, duplicating the original heater hose routing on 66-67’s is something many people get wrong (slightly different than 63-65). The ‘designed’ routing is shown in the AIM below (UPC 1, Sheet D7). Common mistakes are not getting the supply tank Tee at a 45° angle, not routing the 5/8 heater hose from the lower heater core pipe over the Tee and then below the 3/4 hose going back up to the intake manifold nipple. There appears to be a conflict in the AIM regarding whether the 5/8 hose is inboard or outboard of the 3/4 hose before going over the Tee (View B appears to be outboard, main illustration inboard). However, pictures in Noland’s book (page 392) support the outboard position.
Again, it doesn’t matter functionally, only if you want to duplicate the AIM. Below is a pic of how I routed my ’67 hoses with the silly logos.

I judged engine and compartment at the Bloomington Gold event from the beginning for about ten years and I can only remember two cars that had the heater hoses and routing correct.

Well, they may not be correct however, my reason for running the heater hoses as I did was to hide the heater core shut off valve I installed to cut down on summer heat.
Betcha you can't find it in my pic!

It looks like the hose from the "T" to supply tank is very short, just as it should be. If it's original, would it be possible to give us a measurement?

Of course it's crammed up against the wall for the winter with another one right up against it. I got in there the best I could for having to lean in from the front and it should be 2 1/8".
