Default Looking for a specific 1964 Corvette...

Hello all. I am in the hunt for a 1964 Corvette that my father bought when he was 19. He ended up selling it in the late 80's, but then bought it back in the mid 90's. It was sold 3 or 4 years ago now. I do have the VIN of the car if anyone could use that to maybe track it down. The car went to the Washington DC area.

I would like to just get in contact with the current owner and ask them that if they were to ever sell it, please contact me first.

I know the car isn't much to the Corvette purist, but, it is literally my exact dream car.

Go to add123.com, plug the VIN in for this car, and see if the car is currently registered somewhere.

You have to enter the VIN twice on this site. I don't know why.

Put the vin in the space provided, hit search.

When the screen refreshes, hit search again.

If there has been ANY titled related activity on this car since Jan 1, 2010, it will show up.

Thanks. I now know the car is in Maryland and has only been registered once after my parents sold it. Maybe i will try to contact the Maryland SoS and see if they can do anything for me. Appreciate it!

No need to apologize. While we like originals, a nicely-done car does not have to be just as it was made. Other than the wheels, which just are not my taste, the car looks great IMHO!

EDIT: You might want to contact a forum moderator and have this thread moved to C-1&2 general discussion forum. It will get more exposure, and maybe somebody will know where exactly the car is now.
