Default 62 Sun Visors Pics Needed - Thanks !

Hi All: My wife wants Xmas ideas from me. I am thinking to suggest AK sunvisors as a gift for my nearing completion 62 restoration. Neither my 59 or 62 has (had) visors when I got the cars, so I am not sure what I need to add visors to a non-visor car. i don't see for example where the visor arms would attach to the windshield frame. Don't see the usual mounting points or holes to screw something into that holds the arms on both ends. It suggests that the windshield frame surrounds / moldings across the top might be diff for a visor vs non-visor car. If I also would need new moldings or other items (that may not be easy or cheap to come by) I'll probably skip the idea.

Could someone post some detailed pics of both ends of the visor. How they attach. I do see the visor attach kit from CC. But shows no pics of how they attach to the windshield. Also.. am guessing the 58 - 62 would be the same so maybe any pics of those years will help me out ???

Thanks much !

OK... I think I answered my own question should it help others. How the visors attach... I found that Topflight / Corvette America offers two diff upper moldings. One for, and one not for visors. At a staggering almost $500 for the molding.. Yikes !!!

That said.. I see my 62 has the correct molding for visors !!! Yeah ! . My 59 has the non-visor molding. The 62 visor holes are filled in with stainless trim screws at present.

Hope this update is of use to others.

PS: Some pics with visors to confirm above still welcome before I have the wife order visors

All 62's were built with "sun shades" In 1960 they were an extra cost option.

Ditto for a 59, they were an option. This was first year for sun shades option; not avail in 58 or prior.

Ahhhh... I guess that explains why my 62 has the 'with visors' molding already in place and the 59 does not. Thanks all !
