Default How many C2 Powerglides '63- '67 left?

I own a powerglide Corvette but it’s difficult to find information on them due to their rarity.

I would like to keep track of the Original Corvette C2 Powerglides registered today - like Syd is doing on '63s.

If you have one, I am interested in the following information and will provide updated charts below.

Year VIN (last 3 digits) # ( the data is no good without the digits)
Coup/convert #
Engine HP
Accessories

With all due respect, if I had a power glide car, I would provide you with the info you requested with the exception of the VIN. I guess I'm a little paranoid of having too much info on the internet.

Just remember, that when you go to rebuild these units, they have 6 composition and 6 metal plates in the clutch pack, versus just 5 in the standard passenger car models to take the extra torque sometimes "developed" in corvettes. You can't imagine the surprise, and the subsequent difficulty in locating just one more plate combo to complete your rebuild!

I have a 64/250 HP - low optioned.

Is there a shortage of information on powerglide equipped Corvettes, or powerglides in general? I've seen some beautiful cars in this thread (always nice) but my black book points out that automatics account for about 1 out of 10 midyears. And the unit itself was of course installed since the beginning...

I'll play.....

'63 roadster, 300 HP, PG, PS, PB, PW, WonderBar. Very comfortable and easy to drive.

Oh, and the other car in the picture has a PG also. But you knew that.
