Longest Continuously Owned C1 AND C2.
#42
Took delivery on my 66' Roadster in early 1966. That means almost 51 years of continuous ownership. Had a 58' prior to that for three years.

Bought my (originally a "feulie") "nom" '62 April 1967; will have had it for 50 years next April. I have business cards from 4 guys who figure I'll be selling once I hit 50 years of ownership (maybe they're right) but none mention $$$! Paid $1600 w/hardtop. Plan was to keep it a year, get it "outta my system" and sell if for $100 less than I paid for it. In 1968, a couple of salesmen from the Canonsburg (Yenko?) stopped by & offered me $100 MORE than I paid for it!...and I was thinkin'...what's WRONG with this picture? 49+ years later, STILL "in love"!

Melting Slicks
Early 1973 picked up the '61 for $1500, was a 21 year old kid at the time. Still a great ride even though I'm an older kid. It's pretty impressive how many long time owners there are.

Advanced
A mere youngster, 41 years this spring.
I bought my 1958 in the Spring of 1976. Teardrop bubble on the hood, L 60's on chrome reverse rims on the rear, battery in the trunk, 2 1/2 lift (gasser look) fenderwell headers, wrong seats, wrong steering wheel. Ah, to be young and dumb again. Wiring, interior, tops and a lot of little stuff and I might just make it totally pretty again. I might set a record for the longest restoration time in the history of this forum.
I hope y'all enjoy the Holidays and stay healthy and safe.

I knew this would happen. My 39 years of ownership won't even get me into the 2nd tier of this ranking.

67 Corvette, 47 years in my family. I remember riding/bouncing around in the back with our dog Lily when I was 4 and waiting outside with my sister in the early 80s listening for the sound of the exhaust to know our Dad was coming home. Great memories. 30 years later, I am proud to have it in my garage and keeping the love of Corvettes alive in the family. Cheers!
