I just looked, and there's no '63 Split in MY garage.....darn. The '61 is all alone and depressed.

Congrats. I think that particular 63 is an excellent choice, I was admiring it myself a few months back.
You have the right idea--owning both a 65-67 convertible and a 63 coupe gives you everything. I was thinking about parting with my 67 to buy a 63 coupe recently, then I drove a 63 and realized one can't replace the other. Two very different cars.
