Benton has been to Greg's store. I'm sure he'll chime in with his comments about the eye candy there including the antique airplanes, and the automobile memorabilia. I especially liked the Blues Brothers manikins sitting near the trio of big-brake cars.
Anyway, click on the photo of my car below and you'll recognize Greg's place in the background.
Let's see some photos of your car. It's kind of a rule around here. We can't get enough car **** around here. A link to your car on Greg's site will do.

Hey Mike - That's where I bought my car back in 2012. Greg is a stand-up guy. I had problems with my shifter when I got my car. He sent a driver and enclosed trailer to pick my car up, took it back to his place, replaced the shifter, and returned the car to me. Summerville, GA is 500 miles from my house. All done in 1 week and no charge to me. Maybe he'll do the same with your dash light bulb <LOL>.

My car is still on his site. It is a silver pearl convertible with red interior 350 hp with knock offs and gold walls. I am tech challenged and I do not know how to post a picture on the corvette forum. Last I looked it is still marked as just in and I might give him a call about the parking brake lamp and a few other issues that I have found. Thanks for the reply.

Beautiful car.
Personally, I wouldn't sweat the parking light bulb. Not a big deal in the overall scheme of things. If that's the only problem you have, Consider yourself lucky. These are 50+ year old cars.
Enjoy your new ride.

That parking lamp bulb and the headlight warning bulb are different from the other bulbs. They flash when they have been on a few seconds. I would not change the bulb unless you're heavily into everything working exactly as it should. (which I sometimes get into myself) It's easy to tell if your brake is on because the handle is pulled out in plain view. If you decide to go forward, make sure you get the correct bulb. The # of the bulb is 257

Hi Steve, I would like to get the brake warning lamp fixed and I have found a shop that specializes in older Corvettes but I will have to wait for good weather. I think the am band on the radio is in-op as well so I might have the two problems fixed at one time. I would like to have the car judged but that is something else I have no idea were to start.
Thanks for your reply, Mike

Welcome to the wonderful world of C2 ownership. Have you joined NCRS yet? If not, I would highly recommend that. There, you can buy the Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide for your year car and, also, get copies of judging sheets to see what all is involved in the judging process. I call it a process because once you start (unlike a journey) there is no end. Enjoy the ride

Welcome to the Forum as well. I also have a 65 roadster and I'm just a young man at 73 but I really like working on my 72 Porsche and my 93 classic Mini who keep the Vette company in my garage.

Welcome! Taking out the dash is not a job to be taken lightly, its more suited to a gymnast than guy with a bad back. I'd wait until something really goes wrong. Good luck....

Congratulations on your new car! There should be some good information in the "sticky" section for your question. I would suggest removing the seats and then start. I did all the hard stuff when I did this, and had my wife and her small hands change out the bulb, really not that big of a deal. Good luck!

Greg Wyatt has been busy.
I just visited his shop on Monday and agreed to purchase his '66 Nassau Blue 427, 425hp coupe. You can also go on his website and see the car.
He has quite an impressive set up down there.

Welcome! I'm afraid you cannot pull it far enough to get that high with the tach connected. You can replace the bulbs with small hands and a good back without totally removing the cluster but it's a lot of contorting.
That said- I'm super excited for you! Enjoy the experience!
