Default Bench Testing Headlight Motor??

I have rebuilt the headlight motor on my 66. I'd like to bench test it first. How would I connect my hot wire/ground to test it? I'd like to test both directions. The connector has two pins. Anyone done it before? Thanks.

Ground the body of the motor. Touch the hot wire to one post for one direction and to the other post for the other direction.

Exactly right....its a pretty low-torque setup...it won't 'buck' like bench testing a starter motor, etc.. If it doesn't run similarly in both directions you might want to adjust the end play (you'll see the adjustment lock nut)...
