Default Patriot Side Pipes

Any body use Patriot Side Pipes? We had a set of side pipes on dads corvette and they Started to rust out. Can't chrome them due to the set up. So thinking about replacing them with these

go with the originals, or at least the original covers and whatever pipes you want under them.

Personally I'd eliminate the junk aftermarket side pipes and go with a dual exhaust out the back.

IMHO, ugly pipes. Either go with the original style or the N11 off road under car exhaust.

YMMV.

I have them on mine and like them. They were on it when I bought it. I would like to find original heat shields though.

They sound good. Not too loud but you can definitely hear it coming. You can hear my crappy radio over them and carry on a conversation. The more you wind it out, the louder they get. Pm me your email if you want and I can send a video maybe this weekend.

Classic Chambered Exhaust makes some nice side pipes...I prefer the side pipes on a C2 period...get the 3inch pipes...the OEM pipes are stifling....

Check out Sweet Thunder Exhaust they supply a lot of the corvette restoration places with side exhaust.
