Fast Eddie mid-engine Corvette
Looks like someone else may beat GM to the punch with a mid-engine.
I like it it but my pockets are way too shallow.

It shows how far ahead of time the design studio was decades past. The design favors Ferrari with the deep side scoops and sharp crisp surfaces. The next logical step is mid engine for a two passenger sports car. They need a transparent panel to display the " jewel " of the operational center. Stunning !

I like it! It looks like a cross between the Lamborghini Aventador and the new Ford GT, with just enough GM/Corvette like touches thrown in to give it its own identity.
The text in the link says the rear styling pays tribute to the C2. I wish the pictures showed enough detail to provide a look at that!

I like it alot. They were way ahead of their time. They talk about how much they like the rear end treatment that pays homage to the midyears, yet they don't really show the tail lights?? I am anxious to see the mid engine Corvette in a couple of years. I will probably have to have it.
Prepare for all the "they stopped making Corvettes after 67" comments I'm glad the Corvette heritage is continuing.

Mid engine
It's about time. I drive a mid engine as my daily driver. I love the handling and the front visibility. Today with turbos, you can use a transverse six cylinder and get the power of a V8 without the space concerns. Jerry

I think they did a terrific job of connecting it to the Corvette and at the same time making it quite unique.

Hmmm - I dunno. Now that I think about it, the headlight treatment reminds me more of the mid 90s Camaro than any Corvette heritage............
