Nice! Those are actually my favorite C2 seats - I like them better than the '67s like I have!

I hope to never again use the hog ring pliers I bought! I had to have a friend over to stretch the seat back covers around enough to get the pliers down in there! Covering these seats was much harder then anticipated...

After 2 years of other priorities, I finally reinstalled the Classic Auto HVAC system back under the dash. I re-routed the coolant lines back to their original stock position and routed the AC lines to the right under the fender well. The I capped the firewall side with the original blower box, so at a quick glance, you can't tell the aftermarket AC was installed.
Next weekend, I've got to clean up everything under the dash. I moved the heater temp control back to it's original position and the heater shutoff valve is now under the dash between the CAA box and the firewall. This position allowed me to use a stock heater control cable/fan switch.
After the dash is buttoned up, it will be time to put the new engine in.
Going to be a few busy upcoming weekends....

FINWOLF,

Holy mackeral, those are some meats! Got to see pics when they're mounted.

Me, in the last week I reconnected the cable to the parking brake under the dash (fun), had two panels replaced in leather on my '65 driver's seat & finally replaced the upper steering column bearing (tight & right now) AND centered the steering wheel (off & on 3 times ). Sucked out all the 80-90 gearlube from the rear end (3.73:1), replaced with fresh 80-90 + 1 small bottle of GM posi additive, drained the 5 speed (SS700 close ratio) fluid MOBIL 1 ATF & replaced with fresh MOBIL 1 ATF (fill range: 3 quarts, 3 ounces to 3 quarts, 6 ounces).

Getting ready for the driving season

Nice to see that most of us corvette enthousiasts do things with their vettes everyday!
I received some parts from zip today and I am going to shim and adjust the passenger door within a few days. Will probably be a hard time since adjusting doors on a coupe isn't easy

I went with the Cooper Cobras. I'll be getting rid of the bolt on knock offs next if the 6 inch Torq Thrusts clear the Wilwood D8s.

this pic is before I drove it and settled the suspension

I put a clutch bracket on the pedal along with a new rubber stopper. The rod was previously hooked directly up to the pedal which made the pedal up so high it almost touched the dash. Ordered a Pertronix Ignitor 2 so will be changing the gears for the tach and installing Pertronix next.

Finished my power brake conversion on my 67 and took a nice chilly test drive. By the way the Motive Power Bleeder may be the best tool ever, never had a better pedal after a brake job

I have a Motive bleeder on order, excited to use it when I convert to dual reservoir master cylinder.

today I was doing a simple job at least I thought it would.
the grill in my 66 had absolute wrong screws so I thought let's install the correct black Philips screws with washer. the passenger side of the grill went easy, the center screws as well. but then the driverside
the previous owner used 2 flathead screws but of real poor quality.
they are soft as butter and stuck as hell
still haven't managed to get them loose. maybe tomorrow....

Put the new wheels on, washed it, and took it for a nice drive around the lake.
