Clutch disengagment question
1964 L76 Just replaced pilot bushing, LUK clutch (bent finger) & pressure plate, throw out Bearing & fork ball (short).
All measured & properly before assembly.
I have adjustment rod all way out to fork arm.
While car is on jacks if clutch is pushed in all way should yoke be able to turn while trans in reverse?
Appears not to be releasing. Can shift in and out of reverse.

Yes, but you are working against the gear ratio multiplication - so it might take some effort to twist it in reverse by just grabbing the yoke. Does it turn in 3rd or 4th with the clutch pedal pushed in?

And hope fully you are only dealing with the yoke in the end of the transmission instead of trying to turn the drive shaft also.
Reason being...if the car is up on jack stands and the rear suspension is hanging down...you can run into a bind at the universal joints due to the rear suspension is hanging down and NOT level (or close to it) as if it were on the ground.
QUESTION:
Did you replace ANY of your clutch linkage???
Posting a photo of how you have the clutch adjusted at the end of the clutch push rod (the long rod that goes through the firewall) would be helpful also....if you still are having problems.

Drive shaft disconnected at trans yoke. That is where I am trying to spin from in reverse gear by hand. Adjusted Clutch linkage at TO bearing fork to engine cross shaft. Only adjusted that rod. Want to make sure all is operating properly before putting in trans mount and exhaust pips, etc.
The only adjustment that the factory provided is where the clutch push rod (that I mentioned) that goes from you clutch pedal ...through the firewall..and to the clutch 'Z' bar. The adjustment is made on the threaded portion of the clutch push rod that has a swivel attached to it with two jambs nuts.
