I took this picture the other day
I was driving aimlessly with no destination and after a few lefts here and a couple of rights there I came across a deserted road that seemed to never end.
I just had to do this:

Sweet picture!! We need a second one showing the two black stripes down that long, straight road when you left

Woow! Great pic, and stunning car
Pretty cool road too, it will be hard to find such one in the netherlands.
On 30 march my c2 will get its plates so I will look for a cool road to make some shots too

I appreciate that.
Thanks. The car was painted in 1992 as part of its first (non frame-off) restoration.
Thanks for the comments. That was a great drive and I'm glad I could share it with you guys.

Safety Car
I truly love that car. What a great photo.
I had the pleasure of meeting Carl and his lovely wife at his home a few years ago coming back from the Amelia Island Concours. I was with a friend and when we got there his wife had coffee and cookies all ready for us when we arrived. I had about a 4 hour ride back home and it was a great waker-upper. A awesome family.
This was the first time I met him after many phone conversations and emails. It was the beginning of a new friendship, and only wish we lived closer together to continue more close Corvette fun.
I had much going on with other restorations and Carl was very patient waiting about a year for me to free up for a full body off and frame restoration. It was a pleasure to work with him and bring his beautiful car back home after completion. That day was as much fun for me as it was for him.
Always a pleasure to have Corvette fun and to meet new friends along the way. It's such a great feeling for me to see the smiles and share the fun folks have with their beautiful cars.
