C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified 2020
That looks something like a Firebird front end of the "90"s. I guess the lights would pop up. Dennis

Looks like the 70s, 80s, 90s?? something Fire Bird lost the enduro bumper and Knight Rider turn signals.
Only a daily driver unless the square Fog Lights from the S-10 in the grille openings are adjusted for sunny weather.
I think it looks fairly good and even kinda like it, but think there are too many things that are obviously from the 70 - 80s era Pontiac Trans AM.
Might be Bert Reynolds' 63, 64, 74, 84, CorvFbirdS10 split coup. Show me the validation on this one.

Man, I'm sure glad they didn't ruin our C2's with that rubber front end - It's painful to look at as well!
Looks like a Photoshop job to me...........

That just doesn't strike me as mid-60s GM styling studio work. I would guess it was a later customizing effort. But I could be wrong.

Surprised no one has photoshopped a hatch back for the midyear design. ( saw the lift off coupe style conversion ) Corvette engineers could have saved the trunk adding easy storage space for groceries. I can see the ads, big block or solid lifter small block, 4 speed , side pipe , positraction, convertible for dad. A mild 300 hp automatic ps, pw , ac, hatch back coupe for mom. No four door trucks or mini vans in this family.

So what happens when that rubber bumper flexes back under impact into the fiberglass body.....?
Seems kinda pointless to me. I think the rigid steel bumpers were a better choice!

Exactly! Ever seen the cracks that result from even a minor tap that a steel bumper would have survived with no damage? Some things aren't necessarily a good idea just because they are new and different.
