C2 front Caliper pulling to left
Replaced fluid rubber lines and calipers,
Purged system until strong peddle.
Brakes work great for about 2 miles then starts pulling to left
Replaced right caliper again
purged system until good fluid flow and hard peddle
same problem pulls to left after a few miles
No leaks and strong peddle
The problem before I started was the 65 was pulling to the left!
I started with new pads on the front, still pulled to the left
Replaced rubber line on the right, beld to good peddle, no change
Replaced right caliper...... no change pulls left
Replaced with another Delco caliper........ no change pulls left anter a few miles!
There is something I am missing.............................. any help???

Copy and paste this over in the C1/C2 General help section for better response.

Do you have power steering????
WHEN is it pulling to the left???
1.) ONLY when you apply the brakes???
2.) OR when you are just driving normally?????
DID you replace the rotors????
If I read what you wrote correctly...I assume you stated this all out by replacing BOTH front calipers and hoses....CORRECT?
How are you bleeding the calipers out??? What method of bleeding?
Power or manual brakes????
Single reservoir or dual reservoir master cylinder???
When you were bleeding the system...did the fluid come out of each caliper basically the same??
Also..when you installed the rubber brake hoses. IF they came in a box and were folded in half so they would fit in a small box. Did you take them out of the box and put them in the sun and slowly work them straight BEFORE you installed them???? This can cause for an issue that can cause for a problem.
I assume you looked at your front suspension to make sure all bushings and such are in good condition.
What design of caliper did you use when you replaced the both of them (O-ring or lipped seal design)???

If your car is pulling to one side it is usually because that side is working BETTER than the other side. So I agree with you starting by working on the right side.
The car will pull to the stronger brake. Look at the other side and find out if that side is working. After a drive and a few stops hit both sides with a portable temp reader.
See if they are pulling an equal load while braking. The temps should read very close to the same. Check the rears also to make sure they are pulling an equal load when braking.
If you find a cold brake start your repair there because it is not working.
If you find one very hot brake that would be an oddity and needs inspected.
This quick backyard analysis normally will isolate your braking problem.

I had the exact same systems @ 15 years ago . . . only my car pulled to the right! Everything worked fine for the first few miles - or until I needed to brake a little more quickly/aggressively. Then my car pulled violently to the right - so much so that the car tried to yank the steering wheel out of my hands! I did the same thing you did - replaced pads, installed new brake lines, bled - and re-bled the system several times. Nothing helped. It turns out that my original rotors were "glazed"! I had the rotors "cut" - and that solved the problem completely! My car has stopped straight and true ever since!
Good luck.

There are two threads. The one started by the OP here and the one he started in C6 that was moved to here. Your replies are in the other thread farther down the page.
