Default Front Brakes pulling hard left

C2 front Caliper pulling to left
Replaced fluid rubber lines and calipers,
Purged system until strong peddle.
Brakes work great for about 2 miles then starts pulling to left
Replaced right caliper again
purged system until good fluid flow and hard peddle
same problem pulls to left after a few miles
No leaks and strong peddle

The problem before I started was the 65 was pulling to the left!
I started with new pads on the front, still pulled to the left
Replaced rubber line on the right, beld to good peddle, no change
Replaced right caliper...... no change pulls left
Replaced with another Delco caliper........ no change pulls left anter a few miles!

There is something I am missing.............................. any help???

Have you check the run-out on the rotor and the bearing preload? Just a guess here! Dennis

Since you have replaced the flexible brake hoses we should assume they are good, but what about the hard line leading to the left front? Is it possibly suffering from some sort of trauma induced stenosis which allows fluid to pass while under the relatively high pressure of brake application, but restricts back flow when the brakes are released? Examine the hard line carefully for bends, dents or kinks that could be the cause, perhaps even some form of internal obstruction at an upstream junction with another line or the master cylinder.

Thanks Good point, I have owned the car for 50 years and in the So West so no rust and engine has never been out or no wrecks.

I had the exact same issue years ago - except mine pull HARD to the right. Tried everything!!! It turns out my front rotors were "glazed". Had them cut and that solved the problem completely! Has stopped straight and true ever since.

Thanks,
The first few miles it stopped straight at high/low speed

Haven't had the problem, but here's what I'd try. Drive it until it starts to pull. Have someone hold the brake and open the right caliper bleed valve. See if any air comes out. If not, release brake and open left caliper momentarily to see if there's a pressure build up.
If it doesn't pull at first, then starts to pull, it sounds like the right caliper is picking up air, or the line to it is being blocked.

Solved,
Autospy

Thanks Folk for the help

Removed the left side caliper and soft line inspection
found trash at connection of soft line and caliper, enough to cause a check valve to stop fluid from returning to M/C under very hard braking

replaced new and all is good for another ..........37years, at least that is what the second set of calipers and soft lines lasted
