Default New (old) Wheels

I know this is a Corvette forum, but I had to share pics of the new wheels for the '55 Nomad.

Also, it does have a Corvette motor!

Especially for the old guys like myself who remembers this exact style.

I'm told that American never made the 15" x 10" torque thrust, but ET did make them for two years ('66 & '67).

Recently, I found this pair and couldn't resist!

Pat

Not much different, but they are different. These are the one's I removed.

Apparently so do you. Gorgeous "fat fender" Chevy street rod.

Default Tri-5s

Pat, Is that Regal Turquoise and Shoreline Beige? Those 50's pastels are just great. I had a '57 270 Matador Red Nomad back in 1988. Project looks great.

Good Luck

Beautiful car! Love the stance. Is it a 38 or 39?

Hey Gary,

I just need to finish up the Nomad first.

The '63 is sitting on jack stands waiting for attention.

The good thing is that I have it here and it will get a complete restoration.

See you soon,

Pat

Hey Earl,

It's actually a '56 color, Tropical Turquoise with a white color that I just chose from the samples.

Thanks for the kind words.

Hope to have this one done in about three more months.

Pat

Thanks Gary!

I will most definitely take you up on the offer.

Man.....it's taking everything I got to keep from tearing it apart.

It should only be a few more months before I get the Nomad ready.

Hopefully, I will be starting the motor within a week or two. Once I see everything is good, I'll begin assembly on the doors, fenders, glass etc.

Take care,

Pat
