Default 1956 powerglide neutral switch diagram

Hi, I am hoping someone can send me a diagram of how the 1956 powerglide neutral safety switch is mounted to the transmission. There was a modified switch on my car I purchased a factory switch but there seems to be something missing. Can't seem to find a view of this in my shop manual. Thanks, Jim

Default 1956 engine bay. Semi flat or glossy?

Thanks again for the photos. That made it easy to install my new bracket and switch.
Would yo now if the engine bay in the 1956 should be gloss or semi gloss? On my mid year Corvettes the engine bay is a semi flat. Thanks! Jim

Definitely not gloss. Should be somewhere between semi gloss and flat. I got dinged a few points on judging for being too flat, so who knows. I always lean toward a trim black paint.

Thanks again. We were leaning toward a semi flat black. That is what we'll use. Take care! Jim
