Default Low on power on 61 fuelie.

So my wife and I were out for a drive today and I notice that I had loss of power on acceleration. I recently put in a electronic in place of the dual points, I reset the timing to 33 total, it was at 36. It is the stock 283/315 fuelie with 097 cam. It just seems low in power... And I am running 100 race fuel. Any suggestions? I am bumping the timing to 35 to see if that helps. Also it smells a bit rich in the garage but no miss and tail pipes are clean, starts great and cruises fine, but low power with just the pedal.
Thanks.

Why did you expect any results different than what you got? Why not try 37-38* total?

Why did you replace the dual points?

Please don't make this another pertronix vs points thread.

I agree with MikeM.
Why did you lower the timing when you went to electronic ignition?

Previously I was told to run the fuelie at 33*. After replacing the points I checked the timing and it was 36. With the points it was 33. Somehow after it from 33 to 36 after the conversion. So I set it back to 33, I set it to 36 today but haven't had time to drive yet. Monday I will drive and test. I was just curious if anyone else noticed their fuelie not as lively as expected.
