Looks too nice to be a former drag car. They never were that straight with 10k paint. More like a repo body and grille mascaraing a former past. Hard to believe it was a passenger car leave alone a quarter mile bandit. Patina, decals, and battle scars are living proof identifiers. Sorry for the negatives but my two cents.

My Gasser is a real car that the owner started the build around 1970 and I finished it a few years ago. I drive it a lot. All the parts are period correct Olds rear, JR headers, CAE axle, Hurst Airheart Disc brakes, +++ and the engine(s) with the car are the original 283/283HP and a new Ohio George Montgomery 377 stroker built in 1971 and never run.
Here is what it looked like when I got it and then finished.

Between yours and Rex's (DrL88), it doesn't get much better!

Pat,
Thanks again and I really love your 62, paint and wheels are great among other things.
I love my 57 Gasser but the 62 is still my favorite.
Rex has a number of fantastic cars and is a great guy.
